Poster Presentations

Thank you for your interest in submitting an abstract for a poster presentation at the 2019 Arizona Psychedelics Conference. Please review all of the information below carefully before making a submission. Keep in mind that posters are physical displays of information and the work to be reported must have scientific merit.

Please submit your abstract by Friday, January 4th at 5pm. No late submissions will be accepted. You will be notified of your acceptance or rejection by Monday, January 7th.

Abstract Guidelines

The abstract must be no fewer than 150 words and no more than 350 words. Abstracts should begin with a sentence stating why the topic is important and end with the general conclusion, relevance, or potential impact. The abstract must include an overview of the types of participants, the types of procedures, and a statement of what the data showed, with what degree of confidence.

Poster Guidelines

All posters must include the following elements:

  • Title of the Poster
  • Names and affiliations of all authors
  • Background
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusions
  • Declaration of Conflict of Interest for all authors; if there are no relevant conflicts, this must be included on the poster.
  • Funding sources
  • Contact information (optional)
  • Posters must be no larger than 3 feet high by 4 feet wide.

Posters may be set up on Friday evening and may remain on display until Sunday afternoon.

Photography Release
You acknowledge that if your poster presentation is approved, you may be photographed by an Arizona Psychedelics Conference-approved photographer. By making a submission, you grant Arizona Psychedelics Conference and Entheogenic Research Awareness permission to use your likeness in photograph(s) in any of their publications.

In submitting your abstract, you agree to follow our Code of Conduct. Also, you must acknowledge that if your poster presentation is approved, you still must purchase a ticket to attend the conference. We recommend registering as early as possible.
